INSOLES
Insoles are used to correct or compensate for misalignments of the foot. Your doctor will diagnose the type of misalignment - splayfoot, hollow foot, pointed foot, fallen arches or flat foot. Based on this, the insole required for your foot will be prescribed. If you come to us with a prescription, a foam and/or plaster cast will be made of your feet. Alternatively, you can have your feet measured digitally with our foot scanner and foot pressure measuring device.Insoles are made for different purposes, as the demands and stresses of your everyday life are not always the same. There are special insoles for work shoes and sports. We make insoles from different materials - plastic, foam, cork with textile or leather covering. You can have your impressions made in our workshop for orthopedic and rehabilitation technology on Engelsberg and in the Solingen Grünstraße and Leverkusen Hauptstraße branches. Insole scanners for making digital insoles are available in the workshop on Engelsberg and in the shop on Grünstraße.
INSOLE TYPES
CORRECTION INSERTS
Corrective insoles are used to restore the condition of the foot. Depending on the corrective function - whether the aim is to raise the inner edge of the foot while lowering the outer edge - supination - or whether the outer edge of the foot is to be raised and the inner edge of the foot lowered - pronation - wedges are fitted accordingly.
BOWL INSERT
Shell insoles are used when malformations of the foot skeleton need to be corrected - e.g. in children, flat feet and fallen arches.
KOPIEEINLAGEN
Copy insoles serve to evenly distribute pressure across the contact surfaces of the foot.
SOFT BEDDING INSERTS
Soft bedding insoles provide impact insulation and prevent pressure peaks – particularly important for people with diabetes.
CAD - CAM INSERTS
CAD - CAM insoles are individual insoles that are manufactured by hand using machines based on computer-aided foot analysis. These are insoles that are manufactured individually and with precision. CAD insoles are orthopedic custom insoles of the highest precision level, combined with the latest technology and the craftsmanship of our orthopedic technicians. Our goal is to achieve the best possible, effective treatment for your foot problems. The CAD insoles are precisely tailored to your foot anatomy by our orthopedic technicians, your needs and individual areas of application are also taken into account. We make your individual perfect insole for you - regardless of whether you are involved in sporting activities, need them in safety shoes, want to use the insoles in elegant shoes for dinner or an event, or use them in sporty, fashionable sneakers.
